Jiu Jitsu is a ground-based martial art, using the principles of leverage, angles, pressure, and timing.
We focus on the skill of taking an opponent to the ground, controlling one's opponent, gaining a dominant position, and using a number of techniques to force them into submission via joint locks or chokeholds.
This program is perfect for first-timers, as well as experienced grapplers.
Required Gear: form-fitting workout gear and a mouthguard
Jiu-Jitsu Fundamentals
This program is perfect for first-timers, as well as experienced grapplers who want to focus on basic jiu-jitsu. This class covers all basic terminology, positions, passes, sweeps, escapes, and submissions. The Fundamentals class is necessary for all levels of Jiu-Jitsu practitioners looking to improve their basic grappling.
No-Gi Jiu-Jitsu
This program accommodates beginner to advanced levels. It covers 10th Planet style Jiu-Jitsu which incorporates new-age techniques and philosophies aimed to improve your skills as an MMA fighter and submission-grappler.
You’ll learn chokeholds, armlocks, leglocks as well as fundamental Jiu-Jitsu in these no-gi classes. Our facility has a 2,000sq ft grappling mat that provides a massive amount of room to roll.
